moving from the best place

ok, so the last post was kind of... misleading and ironic but yet true. We are officially moving to Plano Texas. at least for 9 months anyways. everything has pretty much fallen into place ish. basically tyson's job was going to end soon and our lease is up this month. and my parents want renters for their old house, and about a million other reasons..... so we will be leaving utah october 1st and driving a truck down there with our stuff. tyson should begin flight school a few weeks after that at ATP to finish his commercial and other licences. (yes it will be like 50k, just so you don't have to go look it up). school is three months and then they give you a guaranteed job for 6 months. we are glad we will be there for the 9 not most hottest months of the year (yes i have to say it like that). after that we hope tyson gets a job with a regional airline (17-23k salaried), and that we will have free traveling benefits soon! unfortunately i think this turn of events will postpone our excursion to thailand. I am exhausted from planning the move already... selling a car, packing up our cute apartment, getting credit for the thanksgiving plane tickets i already bought, putting abby in a new school (o wait just kidding!), making many a phone calls and so on. for the past two weeks tyson and i have had so much anxiety that we can not sleep, this does not help our cause for relaxation. we are very excited to journey on the road that lies ahead.

the best place to live!

i don't know if i have expressed how much we love it here in farmington ut. we do! the people are so nice. the neighborhoods are a great mix of modern and vintage country. for example, i visit teach a girl who lives in a house that used to be a hotel in the 1860's. we live 2 blocks from the best city pool. there are many trails and ponds within walking distance, like lagoon trail. we feel safe here. AND apparently we live in the heart of the 12th BEST PLACE TO LIVE according to MONEY MAGAZINE for 2011!!!

Ps. north salt lake (only 10 mins away) is also on the top 25 list!
AND murphy texas, bordering Plano, where my parents live and included in plano school district is also on the top 27 list!! and the colony #68 is only 20 minutes from my parents house too!.... haha maybe 100 is too many to be on the list, but farmington did make #12!!

farmington parade (2nd week of july)

we could hear the parade from our apartment so even though we all don't wake up till 1130 we made an exception and got out of bed to see the parade! it was awesome! the best floats i've ever seen in person, really! unfortunately we didn't get any candy because abby had a blow out, which is why i'm holding her awkward, but it was still fun.

a tribute to 11 months

it has been great having hannah as my best friend for the past 11 months, but alas, they are moving to washington st. I am very sad to see her family go, and i speak for abby as well because bailey is her best friend. we wish them well on their journey!
this is at bird world in northsaltlake. best pet store in utah.
abby didn't want the lady at the shop to take the camera

happy birthday to the palmer family

since almost everyone in the palmer family lives so close we just celebrate one big "birthday" a year at 7 peaks waterpark. best idea ever, thanks rosemary and dave!

up to mischief...

i found abby in my room looking at some free baby magazine and i peeked in and she was wripping it up visciously and crying..... i guess she doesn't want us thinking about any other babies....

abby's favorite thing is bubbles and lotion. she thinks that desitin is lotion so anytime she can get at it she puts it all over like lotion or make up like she's seen me put on. and aside from liking to pull out the wipes she also likes to suck on them, so we have to keep an extra eye on her.... but sometimes she manages to get into mischief...

harry potter is over, but he will live on in our hearts

Tyson, a true fan (he finished all the books like within a few days of them being printed) had to have the scar to see the last movie. surprisingly i have never read any of the books and i have a bachelors in english, but i have loved each one of the movies as they have come out, and i'm sad there will be no more. (we saw it the weekend it came out).

4TH of JULY

fourth of july is big on the Palmer side of the family. we always go to the Huntsville parade (because it's the best with the most candy and crazy floats... and to see aunt pauline act in the play).

i don't care how blurry i see as long as it's in style

Abby really likes to put on ANY glassses she can get her hands on. at tyson's parents house she will go into grandma kasi's purse and get her glasses and bring them to me and ask me to help. ha, her dream will come true if she gets tyson's genes.

so cute in the tub

now that we have a new computer after many years of dealing with a.... bad one, i can finally upload pictures at home straight from my camera. YAY! we are spoiled.... but not for long possibly (we have it on not that great authority that tyson should be laid off soon, or offered a position with a 40% pay cut)... we're not worried about it at all! :) because we think we have a plan which is scary because Heavenly Father often likes to change our plans. hahaha.

summer trip

long story short, i went to washington (richland) a few weeks ago. by myself, well, just abby and i. it was great. she was pretty awesome for the 9 hours in the car and slept most of the time. I stayed with my aunt linda which was a lot of fun. we all stay up late talking and catering to abbys needs lol. i got to see mike and rayleens kids and steve and kaylyns family. i got to see both sets of grandparents, Sants and Coltons. it was nice just being able to visit and catch up in person with everyone. i got to see roseann and erics home. i got to spend a lot of time letting abby play with dan and andrea's kids, and got to help them paint a few doors in the new home that they bought in july. it looks like all their hard work will pay off when they're done working on it, the kitchen already looks fabulous. I had a lot of fun taking abby on her first bike ride (although i think now that we have a bike trailer she prefers that) along the columbia river with all of kathryn's bikes including a tandem! I didn't bring my camera so i didn't take any pictures, which is sad but hopefully i will be more motivated in the future because we are getting a new laptop next week(that i will be able to upload pictures to)!!!! all in all it had been way too long since i had been up there, and i always leave there thinking i wish i could live there. (and it was only about 95 dollars in gas roundtrip in our 97 altima!)
