ive been slacking

bad news-ish:
we've been way busy. tyson hasn't had a day off work in about a month. seven days a week. 12 hours a day. mostly grave yard shifts. it's wearing on us, but we need the money (curse student loans) and we don't know how long the job will last ish. plus i'm still working. and abby still gets up 4 ish times a night.

entonces no time for blogging.

good news:


i actually had a lot of fun working this week. i taught the 3-6th grade classes the thriller dance. i smile just thinking about it.

i chopped off my hair. i never fail to love chopping it off. i don't know why i pretend to grow it out. i like it short. blonde. a-line.

We finally got... drum roll.... an apartment. holler. can i get an amen? :) we have enjoyed our time in tyson's parents basement, but this too shall pass all good things must come to an end. actually it has been really great and i don't know what abbys going to do all alone with out 8 other people running around the house, especially grandma kasi. but we need our own space and everyone's kind of sick of us, so we are moving to a basement apartment just down the road 7 minutes, in farmington. it's a small 3 bedroom 1000 sqft. yay. and it was a steal. we don't have to pay utilities and we will have for the first time a dish washer and washer and drier. although i am kind of bumed that it's not a complex with other young people like us.... we have never had the privledge of having neighbors less than twice our age. sad. probably a reason i have no friends (i mean real friends that i would feel comfortable having a girls night with) that arent related to me   less than an hour away. on a side note, i've already met the first neighbor's, the ones that live upstairs, and they are very nice.... lady "room mates". we're supposed to have to mow the back yard but they said they'd do it for us. :) needless to say i have mixed feelings about moving, but mostly the overwhelming feeling of excitment, most definately. i went to tai pan and ikea and hobby lobby last week. and the apartment has really cute built in shelving. need i say more? ps. the timing couldn't be better this coming up week is spring break! :)

we got to have a late lunch with grandma and grandpa sant this week. it was delicious and great company. (we went to paradise bakery and the soup there rocks... im hungry just thinking about it although i can't decide if i like Zupas more... both are favorites) and im looking forward to seeing them and howard and jen and cousins tomorrow.

 general conference is coming up! yay. this always brings more clarity to my life. clarity is a good thing. clarity brings peace. and peace allows me to sleep better at night (can you tell i need more sleep?- conference is actually a lot better than a good nights rest.)

the days of celebrating are coming up... in the next seven weeks: kasi's birthday, my parents anniversary, tyson's parent's anniversary, my birthday, tyson's birthday, abby's birthday, cara's birthday, easter, 3 weddings of tyson's cousins, my first 'real' mothers day, i'm sure i'm forgetting something...

and for my birthday i'm taking abby to dallas in june :) it will be great.

and although it's not good news to everyone else, i'm really excited that tyson's sister and hubby just moved to dallas, so i'll get to see her in june too! yet another reason we should move to texas lol.

THE SUN HAS COME OUT... i went on 2 walks yesterday. im pretty sure i have seasonal depression, so i'm getting an adrenaline rush just thinking about the green grass i walked on yesterday while the school had a fire drill and the sun that was shining.

 

oh and abby can still almost walk.

well that's about it. ish. :)
