the grass is always greener...

but i have a ton to be thankful for. :) this week is supper stressful because:

 

-i have a 6-week old baby

-some of my stitches re-opened and had to be cauterized and then they re-opened again

- we decided to be moved out by friday so that we can sell our contract early and save a few hundred since we'll be in texas almost the rest of the month

-tyson is out of town in montana for work this whole week so i get to box up our house all by my little lonesome (plus one) in a matter of a couple days, plus move all the stuff into storage and tyson's parents' basement

-cub master week... i get to buy and cut up watermelon for 50 people and fill a couple hundred water balloons

 plus on friday i'm a brides maid for my best friend caryn who was my brides maid, and i'm so excited but there's a lot of stuff to do for it!

the list actually goes on but i need to get to bed so...
i'm grateful for:

wonderful inlaws who are helping me with the move and the baby

 tyson and i got to go on another date to the armstrong mansion in salt lake- a bed and breakfast hotel i highly recomend. it was awesome to say the least... and i got to sleep all night... and then pump about 14 ounces of milk in the morning lol.

tyson has work, even though it's all night, because he's been out of work for a few months

that tyson will be here for 4th of July and that we will have a blast at the Huntsville parade on the 3rd and that on the 4th we will bless baby abby

that in 8 days we will get to go to texas (via plane) for the first time as a married couple and that we will have baby abby to bring along with us

well abbys asleep now so i have to go to sleep too!

Just a taste...

well we couldn't find abby's binky so we got her back up one from her diaper bag, rinsed it off and stuck it in her mouth. sometimes when i'm moving her around and juggling a lot of things and don't want it to fall out of her mouth onto the ground i stick it in my mouth because i don't have enough hands. we're in the process of boxing up the house and so i stuck the binky in my mouth shortly after getting out the back up binky... and it tasted minty like gum and i remembered it had been in the diaper bag next to some gum for a few weeks... huh i guess abby just got her first taste of something different than milk... hope she liked it. :)

I figured it out... the blog that is. any who. So this past weekend was great. first of all, it was sunny. yay. second of all, we went to a family reunion for tyson's mom's side in pleasant grove and it was a way fun day filled with volley ball, tether ball, ice cream and other goodies, and etc. tyson's cousins dylan and renee and their baby came from georgia for it! so we had fun with them and the grandparents the rest of the weekend at kasi's....

but did i mention friday i prepared (by buying a bottle) for our first "date" with out the baby. Kasi (my mom in law) watched Abby while we went to see a play. we saw the 3 musketeers at the hale centre theatre in salt lake. it was way good... and it was free.... and it fulfilled a requirement for one of tyson's summer block classes... and it was just way good overall. the acting. the set. the stage. oh ya. we definitely want to go back sometime. on another note i went in for my 4 week check up and everything is peachy so i don't have to go back :) and we did book our flights to texas! yay i'm so excited! but on a crappy note... i'm apartment hunting and i forgot how difficult and stressful it is. if you hear of any good deals on a two bedroom between lehi and bountiful let me know!!! we're hoping to move the end of july ish.... well today i'm off on an adventure to be bold and try to time things so that the baby will be sleeping and i can take her to the movies to see the last song... hopefully that goes well.... if not i guess i just lost a dollar to the dollar theater... yay for cheap stuff.

so things are moving right along here with the new baby... she was born at 8lb 4oz and at day 2 was 7.10 and now at 2.5 weeks she's 8.14!!! can you tell she likes to eat... A LOT! and for about a week now she's been sleeping 5-8 hours straight every night! i am a lucky girl. so for head circumference and weight she's about 75th %, but for height i heard two different things today... wic said she was 21 and 1/4 inches but the doctors said 22 and 1/4 inches... so she's somewhere between 75 and 95 % in height.... i'm not surprised, tyson is 6'4". and yes i am still workin on finding a way to put pics on my computer.... with the new set up i'm thinking i won't ever be able to do it on my lap top... o well.... well we're lookin forward to booking our flights this week for texas in july and seaworld! we haven't been there as a family since before we were married in 2008. LONG OVERDUE!
